A lucky traveler leaving Las Vegas from the airport over the weekend was playing a Wheel of Fortune machine in the C Gates when lo and behold, the reels lined up for a $3.3 million jackpot. That’s getting close to the record; in January 2005, a player won nearly $4 million on a 25-cent Wheel of Fortune machine. In 2010, an airline passenger hit the Megabucks jackpot for $10.4 million, but that was at Reno-Tahoe International. As far as we know, it was the largest jackpot hit at an airport anywhere.
