New York-New York and Las Vegas-based Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group, which specializes in food courts, are teaming up to host a hot dog eating contest on NY-NY’s Brooklyn Bridge on July 4. The Nathan’s hot dog Main Event will take place at Coney Island as usual, but this event will qualify entrants into next year’s contest in Brooklyn. The party starts at 3 p.m. with $2.50 food and beverage, games, face painting, and live music; the competition itself will start at 4.
