According to AAA’s weekly survey, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Las Vegas dropped below $5 for the first time in a couple of months. It was $4.93 yesterday, down from $5.03 a week ago. The high was around $5.60 and the low actually below $4 at a couple of Costco stations around town, at least that’s the way they’re listed on Gas Buddy. Prices are expected to drop further in the coming weeks both locally and nationally, though analysts caution that the decline will be gradual.
