Though the total visitation numbers for May haven’t been released, the passenger count at Reid International was down 8.4% last month. It could augur a lower total; we’ll know shortly about that. Meanwhile, gaming revenue was up up up, at least on the Strip, nearly $100 million higher than in May 2025 at $808 million compared to $713.7 million last year (13%). Baccarat led the charge, rising 60% to $174 million, while slots were up 8% to $411 million. Downtown, Balance of County, and locals casinos fell a few points; North Las Vegas and the Boulder Strip rose a few. The baccarat result especially is yet another indication that though fewer people are visiting, the ones that are gambling on the Strip are playing higher and losing more.
