The Hard Rock has submitted applications for a new 2,000-seat entertainment venue to complement the two existing theaters. The main Mirage Theater hosted Siegfried and Roy; that will be transformed into a venue that hasn’t been announced. The former Love Theater will be expanded into the 5,000-seat Hard Rock Live Arena for major concerts and productions. The new 2,000-seater, so far called “the west theater,” will be five stories tall, the centerpiece of a retail promenade and a karaoke bar on the second floor. The application is expected to be approved by the Paradise Town Advisory Board and the Clark County Commission within a month.
