We’ll cut to the chase: Light a cigarette at a WSOP poker table and you’re gone, history, toast, 86’d. It took exactly as long as security and a manager to show up for an unidentified player at a $3,000-buy-in six-handed No-limit Holdem to be barred, banished, bumped, bounced from the board yesterday. The rules say “smoking devices” are disallowed and cigarettes apparently fit that category. To add insult to injury, the player was found to have tournament chips in his pocket, a huge no-no. The good news is, he didn’t assault anyone on his way out the door.
