The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has unleashed its new marketing campaign, titled “Pack for Vegas.” We’ve seen a few 15-second spots, which are forgettable, but the full blown 60-second extravaganza is worth seeing. The cuts are a lot more rapid-fire and dizzying than we prefer, though that’s de rigueur these days, but the writing is strong (“Las Vegas isn’t just a place you go. Las Vegas is a place where you let go. Sleep will be optional. Decisions will be questionable. Expectations will be shattered. Limits get tested and plans  ignored, in the most spectacular way possible.”), and the visuals are evocative, as fleeting as they are. See it here.
