Now in its 19th year, Las Vegas Restaurant Week will be held from June 1 to 12 (it’s actually a 12-day event). It takes place in early June every year and encourages Las Vegans and visitors to dine out for a good meal at a good value for a good cause. The citys finest restaurants offer special three-course prix fixe menus, donating a portion of proceeds to Three Square Food Bank, southern Nevadas only food bank and its largest hunger-relief organization. Each restaurant selects the donation level of $4, $5 or $6 per meal. Since 2007, more than million meals have been provided for those in need through Restaurant Week. The list of restaurants that participate in the event continues to grow and this year is epic — nearly 300 restaurants to choose from.
